What it is:
A practical, community-sourced reference for finding businesses that appear to support inclusive, welcoming practices and community-minded efforts.
What it isn’t:
Not a rating system or “scorecard” for businesses
Not a comprehensive list of “good” or “bad” businesses
Not an endorsement of every product, service, or belief connected to a business
Not a call to harass, target, or pressure any business or employee
We encourage respectful engagement and good-faith conversations—online and in person.
How entries are compiled
Entries are added based on good-faith, observable information such as:
Signs or notices displayed in the business
Public statements on a business website or official social media
Conversations with staff (when appropriate)
Community practices (examples: local/biodegradable choices, women-owned, youth/student support, charity involvement)
Our aim is simple: document what community members can reasonably verify in the moment.
Inclusion criteria
A business may be listed if it appears to align with inclusive, community-supportive values—such as support for LGBTQ+ people, women’s rights, immigrant communities, and/or local charitable efforts.
Updates, corrections, and removals
Because businesses change over time, this list may change too. If you notice an error, have updated information, or are a business owner requesting a correction or removal, please contact us using the change request form below.
